Welcome to the Fremont Police Online Reporting System.  If this is an emergency, please call 9-1-1.  Using this web-based reporting system allows you to submit a crime report over the internet and print a copy of the report for free.  Please confirm the following to find out if online filing is right for you by asking yourself the following questions.  If you answered YES to any of the following questions, online reporting is NOT appropriate and you should call our Dispatch center at 510-790-6800.

  • Is this an emergency?
  • Are there any known suspects?  (i.e., person’s name or license plate)
  • Do you have information on the suspects other than general description? (video, photographs)
  • Did this crime occur in another city?
  • Did this crime occur on a freeway?

When filing online, if you have video or photograph, please provide the URL in the narrative, or reference the video/image in the report and the Desk Officer will contact you for follow-up.

If you have trouble using the online reporting system you may wish to call the Desk Officer on duty at 510-790-6844.  Please note, this desk is not staffed 24/7.  Also, there is a 30 minute limit to complete your report before it times out and information may be lost.

Please pay close attention to the address format – entering the street type (i.e., Bl, St, Ave) only in the street type field.
