The Fremont Police Department is always looking for new ways to enhance our community engagement efforts. We feel it is important to give our community various ways to connect with us. We offer crime alerts in various forms which include but do not limit to; NIXLE, Facebook, Twitter, Nextdoor, Neighbors by Ring app, and Instagram. We have received positive feedback with these realms of communication and feel compelled to yet offer another form of communication to our community by utilizing Cityprotect.com.
CityProtect.com offers a mobile friendly website which allows the user to explore a crime map of their community. The Fremont Police Department participates in the public crime map feature which promotes transparency and advocates for crime prevention awareness. This tool provides automated mapping of incidents with frequent data updates. Our goal in offering a community crime map option is to inspire a partnership and empower community members to help shape public safety and improve quality of life.

CityProtect is to provide an overview of designated crime within the City of Fremont limits. The crime icons are intended to indicate the block in which the crime allegedly occurred. Information shown is for the past 180 days and is updated one time each day. Please understand that this is a representation of crime and is not all-inclusive. This service does not reflect official crime index totals as reported to the FBI’s Uniform Crime Reporting program. The number of crimes in tables and reports may not be fully reflected in the map due to address data not geocoding.
