Fremont Police Department's social media sites are intended to serve as a means of communication between the public and the Department. The purpose of these social sites is to communicate public safety information in an effort to inform residents, and other fans of the Department about the latest news, activities, services and educational programs it has to offer.
The social media sites are monitored and managed by members of the Department’s Social Media Team. Comments posted to this site are monitored during regular business hours of the City of Fremont (“City”).
Before posting a comment on the Fremont Police Department's social media sites, please review these terms:

- A posting on this channel constitutes acceptance of these terms.
- Do not use this channel to report a crime.
- Posting information related to a crime on this page, is not deemed anonymous. You may be contacted by a Police Employee if you are a witness to a crime.
- “Liking” between the Fremont Police Department and a citizen does not indicate endorsement of that person’s actions or comments.
- This site shall not contain any of the following, and the Department reserves the right to remove comments containing any of the following elements as soon as possible:
- Comments that are not topically related to the particular posting being commented upon;
- Profane language or content;
- Content that promotes, fosters, or perpetuates discrimination on the basis of race, creed, color, age, religion, gender, marital status, national origin, physical or mental disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression;
