Join the Fremont Police Career Fair on Saturday, September 16, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Downtown Event Center at 3500 Capitol Ave. Learn about all available positions: part-time and full-time, professional and sworn opportunities! We are looking for officers, dispatchers, records personnel, animal services staff, administrative staff, volunteers, explorers, and many more! Check out our equipment and say hello to our K-9s. Have fun testing your strength on the physical agility wall. Speak to our current staff for their perspectives on why Fremont Police is your top agency to consider! Stop by at anytime!
Event is open to the general public, and the first 200 attendees will receive a FREE food truck voucher.

- 10:00 a.m. - Q&A with the Chief
- Led by Chief Sean Washington: Ask the Chief anything related to recruitment/hiring/opportunities at FPD!
- 11:00 a.m. - The Oral Board Process
- Led by Deputy Chief Lance Brede, Captain John Harnett, and Lt. Ricardo Cortes: Ask about the oral board process and how you can present your experiences to convey your qualifications for FPD employment.
- 12:00 p.m. - Women in Policing
- Led by Lt. Heidi Kindorf and Lt. Ricardo Cortes: Ask about women working in policing, including challenges, rewards, and strategies for success! Learn more about our pledge to the 30X30 Initiative (30% women recruits by 2030).
