The Fremont Festival of the Arts is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, August 5-6 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Several roads in the City's Downtown District will be closed and impacted by the event.
Road Closure: Please note the following road closures from Friday, August 4 from 2:00 p.m. to Sunday, August 7 at 11:59 p.m.
- Paseo Padre Pkwy – between Capitol Ave and Stevenson Blvd
- Liberty Street – between Beacon Ave and Sundale Ave
- Walnut Ave. – between Civic Center Dr & California St
Parking Lot Closure: The following parking lots will be closed from Friday, August 4 from 12:00 p.m. to Sunday, August 6 at 11:59 p.m.
- City Hall Parking Lot
- City of Fremont Family Resources Center (FRC) Parking Lot
- City of Fremont Development Services Center Parking Lot

Join us at this year’s annual Fremont Festival of the Arts in Downtown Fremont! Enjoy activities and entertainment for the entire family including artist booths; food booths and food trucks offering a variety of delicious street eats; artisanal prepackaged food sales at the Gourmet Marketplace; live performances; Kid City filled with rides, games, arts & crafts, and a Pedestrian Rodeo to learn more about street safety with your kids; and street performers, including face painters, henna tattoos, and more!
Make sure to stop by the City of Fremont booths to chat with our staff about upcoming City initiatives including our Active Transportation Plan and Downtown District development updates, as well as learn more about the City’s recreational programming/events, our human relations efforts, and more. Then head over to the Fremont Police Department’s booth and check out our recruitment opportunities and how you can get involved with our community engagement activities. The Fremont Festival of the Arts is produced by the Fremont Chamber of Commerce. Admission is free.
As with all special events, Fremont Police Department asks attendees to please refrain from bringing backpacks and large bags into the area. All bags are subject to search. In addition, UAVs (drones) will not be permitted to fly over the event.
